A-GPS Assisted global positioning system, a system which help GPS to determine location.
A/F Autofocus.
A2DP/AVRCP These are technical settings used to connect Bluetooth devices, mostly used for audio.
AAC Advanced Audio Coding. This is a method for compressing digital audio files similar to the MP3, but is able to deal with a wider and more extreme range of sound.

Always on Some older internet services require you to 'dial-up' to connect. An 'always on' connection keeps the user connected permanently, as with a broadband connection. This is a feature of some mobile networks (such as GPRS).
Audio jack The connection port used to connect audio devices (e.g. headphones) to a device.
Auto focus This is where a camera automatically focus on the item that the lens is pointed at for a picture.
