A-GPS	Assisted global positioning system, a system which help GPS to determine location.
A/F	Autofocus.
A2DP/AVRCP	These are technical settings used to connect Bluetooth devices, mostly used for audio.
AAC	Advanced Audio Coding. This is a method for compressing digital audio files similar to the MP3, but is able to deal with a wider and more extreme range of sound.
AAC+	This is a highly efficient first version extension of ACC.
AGPS	Assisted global positioning system, a system which help GPS to determine location.
AMR NB	This is a specification used to optimize the transmission of speech sounds.
ActiveSync	A synchronization program designed for Windows Mobile and other pocket versions of Microsoft's Windows operating system.
Adobe PDF	Adobe's Protable Document Format is a popular format which ensures that a document transferred between workstations maintains its original formatting.
Always on	Some older internet services require you to 'dial-up' to connect. An 'always on' connection keeps the user connected permanently, as with a broadband connection. This is a feature of some mobile networks (such as GPRS).
Audio jack	The connection port used to connect audio devices (e.g. headphones) to a device.
Auto focus	This is where a camera automatically focus on the item that the lens is pointed at for a picture.
