Make sure you are entering the S/N of the phone and not of the battery. It is printed on the back of the handset itself, underneath the battery. It's an 11-digit alphanumeric code and it starts with R.

Check that you are using Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher as you may not be able to view all the pages of the Samsung Fun Club with other browsers. Also check that any popup blocks are disabled and cookies enabled before you log on.

Why are some of the menus greyed out or disabled on my D900?

There are a few menus that have been greyed out as shipped with the D900. These appear in the Phone Settings menu under Advanced Shortcut Keys and Sound settings under Keypad Tones. These are greyed out because the Quill Style writing on the Dialing Display is set as the default. To enable these menus, you need to select a different Dialing Display:

How is the Bluetooth connection established between the Samsung D500 and the Samsung WEP150 Headset?

When the connection is created for the first time, the user enters a Bluetooth pass code to create the connection. This first user becomes the default user of the headset. Both the default user and the person who has used the headset last will be able to automatically connect when reconnecting. Other users connect to the headset from the phone's Bluetooth menu by selecting connect from the list of paired devices. Quick start guide, 1. Make sure that Bluetooth is activated on your Phone Menu/ Settings/ Connectivity/ Bluetooth/ Activation 2. When the headset is off, press and hold button A Keep holding the button until the LED light is a solid blue continuous light (this takes about 5 seconds) Your headset is in discoverable mode for 30 seconds and is ready to pair 3. On your phone, search for Bluetooth devices Menu/ Settings/ Connectivity/ Bluetooth/ My Devices/ Search new device Select ""Search new device"" and your phone will look for all available Bluetooth devices within range 4. Select Samsung WEP150 5. When prompted enter pass key, type 0000 6. Your phone is now paired to your headset and is ready to use 7. My phone is not being recognised in the COM port for File Manager/PC Studio.

After installation when the File Manager program is accessed the following message may appear:
To resolve this the user must find out which port the cable is attached to by opening control panel/system/hardware/device manager
properties page. Select modem and the port this device is connected to can be read. In the PIM and file manager program select file/set up (see below)
Change to the same port from device manager (see above)
Click OK . If still not being recognised, please check that you have the compatible cable for the phone.
